Stalls offering local fresh produce, wines from some of the regions best wineries, yummy food, hand-made gifts, plus music and free rides for the kids…all in a beautiful setting at the Quinninup Park in the forest.
The Quinninup Fair has become a favourite family day out for over 20 years.
Free entry and free rides for kids, the Quinninup Fair is focused on providing a value filled enjoyable day for all ages.
The annual Quinninup Fair (previously called Quinninup Market Day) was begun in 2001. It has evolved over the years to become a popular n annual event on the local calendar, a great family fun day out.
Over the years the focus has been on providing free activities for children and show casing local produce, usually held on first Sunday of the school holidays in October.
There are many local and visiting children in the area during this time and providing fun activities for all the family is our goal.
Money we raise from market stalls and food outlets, goes towards the upkeep and maintenance of the buildings in our care, management of the walk-trails in the area plus many other community projects.
The organisation and promotion of this event depends upon and involves volunteers both prior to the event and on the day itself. The Quinninup Fair is only made possible through the support of grants and we have been very fortunate with Lotterywest and Healthways who are two of our most generous donors.
We also thank our long time loyal sponsors - Woolworths, Coles and Mount Barker Chickens who have been staunch supporters also Manjimup Meat Mart, Johnson's Food Supplies, Fontys Hire and the Shire of Manjimup.
Without the support of these local businesses the Quinninup Fair would not be the success it is each year.
We have great local wineries offering tasting and sales, our community stalls offer homemade curries, bbq hamburgers and hot dogs plus yummy homemade cakes for your morning or afternoon tea.
The Famous Quinny BBQ has local butcher meats and local produce that go to make our burgers and sausages delicious!
The Quinninup Curry Hut will be in action again with delicious homemade curries including a vegetarian option.
And of course there is Mick's "World Famous" homemade traditional donuts…be early as they get sold out quick!! Donut sale proceeds go to help our local Quinninup Town Fire Brigade.
We'd like to say a huge 'thank you' to our major sponsors Lotterywest and the Shire of Manjimup as well as the many local businesses.
Plus our local Quinninup volunteers who put in many, many of hours work to make the Quinninup Fair happen every year.
