Room Hire Terms and Conditions Agreement

1. Booking and Payment

* All bookings must be confirmed in writing and paid in full prior to the hire date unless otherwise agreed.
* A refundable bond may be required and will be returned after the event, provided no damage or extra cleaning is needed.

2. Cancellation

* Cancellations made more than 14 days before the booking date will receive a full refund.
* Cancellations made within 14 days may be charged a cancellation fee or forfeit the hire fee.

3. Use of Premises

* The hirer must only use the space for the purpose agreed upon.
* The hirer is responsible for the behaviour of all attendees.
* Noise must be kept to a reasonable level, and all activities must comply with local laws and regulations.

4. Cleaning and Damage

* The room must be left clean and tidy. All rubbish must be removed or placed in the bins provided.
* Any damage to the property, furniture, or equipment must be reported and may result in a charge.
* Failure to clean the space or any damage caused may result in loss of bond or additional fees.

5. Safety and Supervision

* The hirer is responsible for the safety of all guests during the booking.
* Emergency exits must be kept clear at all times.
* Smoking, open flames, or illegal substances are not permitted on the premises.

6. Access and Security

* The hirer will be advised of access instructions prior to the event.
* The hirer is responsible for ensuring the venue is secured and locked after use.

7. Insurance and Liability

* The hirer uses the venue at their own risk.
* The venue owner accepts no responsibility for personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property.
* Hirers conducting business or public events may be required to show proof of public liability insurance.
